Autumn is a Great Time to Take a Vacation

Every year we seem to be blessed by not being able to get away during the summer, but when crisp autumn air greets us here in the central Idaho mountains, we feel an inner call to head out on the road.

Even when one lives in a scenic wonderland for most of the year, as we buy wow weapons do, we always found that every once in awhile, there is a need to experience something different change of climate, a change of scenery, a change of perspective. This fall Stephen and I will be visiting Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, one of our favorite travel destinations. Hi, Alison. Yes. It's very much like the climate where you live, and being a Western Washingtonian by virtue of being brought up there, I know I shall feel right at home. We would love to have you visit while we are hosting. And to answer your question, the house is owned and managed by the Canadian organization that teaches the Transcendental Meditation Program, but there is no requirements for visitors to be practitioners. There has been a rash of US citizens selling their big cars in Canada for more money in the past few years. Rental car companies do not allow people to bring large rental cars (more than 4 cylinders or SUVs) into Canada.

My sister lives in Montreal and bought an inexpensive Lexus van used and drove to Boston. They would not believe her that she owned the car, since she did not have a luxury job.

I always get asked if my Toyota Corolla (not new but excellent condition is mine) and my husband was in Montreal two weeks ago with a newish car and they wanted to see the registration.
